This SF Gate article covering the Big Wheel Race in San Francisco quoted a bit from yours truly while I was on my way to Dolores Park with my Aspen Bunny costume.
Palmer Lamb, a mold maker from San Francisco, was clad in white glitter chaps, a silver mesh top and 2-foot bunny ears. He looked great but felt a tinge of remorse - his costume was too delicate for Big Wheel racing. "Next year, I'll wear something more thrash-able," he said. "You've got to be careful. You could get a Big Wheel in your face."
